Austin
12 Uhr (Texas time)Just in case I hadn't mention it before - Uncle's house was located in the suburbs, so except for Uncle, all of us have not yet seen what the city area is like. Today's lunch was a little special... and rather far away. We drove around 40 minutes to downtown for an Italien buffet.
Here are some random pics I took in the car during our looong journey there:
Our very first time seeing high rise buildings in Austin. Ho~
Apartments, still under construction. (So neat-looking and spacious. Hoshiiiiii~~~~ Really would love to live in here~~)
Ha. Shot with special effects. ;)
o___________________________O Look voodooish, but if I didn't remember wrongly, it was just a tattoo shop.
The buffet place! *eats up the place*
Yep. That's how it looks like. And the restaurant was pretty crowded (heard from Uncle that the buffet price was reasonably cheap for their good food) by the time we got there. It was actually quite a long wait, since our headcount numbered up to seven...
Anyway, I overstuffed myself coz there was so many varieties of pasta (at least 8-9 of them) and I wanted to try all of them! LOL... So I was mainly poking at the pasta dishes and ignoring the pizzas (think it's a pity? but I really only have one stomach...) The children were just crazy over the mozzarella sticks and apple soda (ewwww to me), and the adults picking regularly on the deserts. Me? I didn't try the ice cream, since I believe we have better ice cream back in the fridge (lol), and the deserts were just okay... EXCEPT that the tiramisu cake is sinful... *___________* Ya... I wanna try the pasta again... *_____* It's really authentic Italian... Me miss the pasta... *droooooools*
15 Uhr (Texas time)
Aunt needed to make a trip to the bank after lunch, and once again I continued with the random picture-taking during the short drive...
The pic looks much more awesome in its original size, but I'll spare you the GIANT ahaha.
Foto ish overwired *coughs*
I got pretty worn out looking after the two girls in the bank, so in the end I just sat on a chair while they climbed all over me. Leon made me laughed continuous with his jibberish talk when his face got kinda stuck between my ass and the chair. ROFL.
Then to Uncle's office, coz it's just nearby. The view from his desk is splendid.

We prepare to leave for home as it will be getting darker very soon. Uncle's colleagues back at his office had informed him about the Christmas light up events around town area, and we happened to drive by one gigantic one.
"Trail of Lights" - seems the preperation work is not finished yet... feels so isolated...
Lake Austin; very beautiful under the darkening skies
It's barely 5pm, but the peak hour jam on the highway has begun. Traffic is slow, but at least it wasn't too bad and was still moving.
18 Uhr (Texas time)
Back home for the children to nap (they were totally worn out). But I decided to sleep too (the only chance to get a good sleep is when the children have slept and are quiet). The thing is, I slept till 11pm. Heh. Got to miss dinner (yay) since the pasta is still in my tummy...
Anyhow it has been hot today! A 27 degrees, gosh!
Spent too much time on the Net in the end, accompanied with tubs of ice cream; slept around 4.30 whahaha.
