Austin

12 Uhr (Texas time)
Yep. Can't believe I slept till this late. However as I write now (2pm Texas time) ST is still in bed. :p

The way the sun is shining, it definitely doesn't feel like noontime. :) I'm gonna like it here, heh.

Here’s the view from the back of house. Huuuuge giant yard. Awesome.
(This is the best shot I can give, due to the privacy screen.)

Uncle passed me some ad brochures from the huge pile of two-weeks accumulated mail. And, perhaps coz of my empty stomach (hopefully!) the fast food varieties surpassed my imagination. Maybe I might really fall prey to the calories here... Oh dear... Coz they look overly tasty to me, though they're really just plastic food at the back of my mind they all look like junk food to the world. Aaah! Sin and temptation! Can't flee!

And what's the worst? They have A&W here. Shit. Totally shit. *_____* For years I miss their food. What makes you think I'm gonna curb my appetite now?

So in deep shit.

And finally everyone, except the children, is up. I don't know what to anticipate for dinner, but my very late lunch, spread out in the past 3 hours (lol), consists of marshmallows and homemade noodles. Also need another cup of hot chocolate, waiting for the boiler like, right now.

A sudden urge to go grocery shopping. What would I bring back for myself? Earl grey tea (yes, yes, can't live without it...), chocolates and omg, maybe the Cheddar Cheese Ruffles!! If they allow it, I might also bring tubs of ice cream back... Oh, and then I need conditioner... Hmm hmm.

Started to watch anime on Uncle’s lappie. One Piece and Bleach ahaha. Who says I have to run dry on anime here? >D

...but. The children are waking up. I guess that's the end of anime-ing?

21.40 Uhr (Texas time)
Dinner, at the nearly KFC. Lol - because the first meal outside is inevitably fast food. The food, however as I understand, will be much better than back home. The chicken more tender, and even free flow of drinks? The concept is different, yep. The coleslaw is superb! Just a hint of vinegar and it did magic to the taste already. The salad with Ranch dressing instead of Thousand Island or whatnots; I've gotten used to salad with vinegar so I love it. The mash potatoes... I guess it tastes the same?

22.30 Uhr (Texas time)
Grocery shopping at Walmart. The kids have clinged to me? Anyway, we shopped till one plus in the morning since the store open 24 hours. A giant store like Carrefour, except you'd never see Ben & Jerry ice cream at less than 3 USD. My shopping bag: drinking "Christmas favoured" chocolate, ice cream, chocolates, Earl Grey tea, chocolates, peppermint tea, ice cream and ice cream. Lol, I'm not repeating myself for amusement. Seriously - a lot of chocolates and 3 tubs of ice cream. Woohoo~~

3 Uhr (Texas time)
Supper time! Lol, or rather, ice cream time. Muahaha. Heaven... Especially the B&J "Cherry Garcia". I've decided to spend all my money on tubs of ice cream - they are all too affordable here!
