Weimar | Regensburg

After a fabulous breakfast, I headed out to the Park an der Ihm. It was 9.55 Uhr and I sitting in front of the Liszt Denkmal (monument). A few minutes after ten I went into Liszt-Haus, which is less than 30 steps away from the monument.

"Here lived Franz Liszt 1869-1886"

Liszt-Haus

All those details about Franz's travelling makes me want to follow his footsteps, haha. But hey, it's not impossible. ;) The busts in the second room are so beautifully made, and yes, I saw the famous cast of his hand. Is love.

On the second floor (where Franz occupied during his time) all furnitures has been retained in its original setting. You cannot imagine how nervous I was making my way up the stairs. The setting around me (after reaching the second floor) makes me feel Franz's presence, that Franz still dwells here. On Franz's desk was displayed the death mask of Beethoven - I did not expect to see this here, but I do know that Franz owned it. Wow.

In conclusion, I thhought I really like the rooms! I believe that rooms speak volumes about personality, so yes, the rooms warmed my heart, especially that study room (the largest room, with two pianos) - that was brilliantly designed!

At 12 Uhr I bade farewell to the house and walked for a half hour to the station. I don't know what was wrong with the weather now - it's super hot! >:E

We boarded the train leaving Weimar but it was only an hour later that I realised we got on the wrong train. SHIT. You can underestand I was apparently the "tour guide" here throughout our trip since I'm familiar with how the transport network works and that I can communicate in German. So it's no stress for my parents but really despairing for me. We had alighted in the middle of nowhere - and even I have no idea which region of Germany we were in. Plus all those Franz route I took from yesterday morning till this afternoon had transformed me into a rather emotional mess. I found it very stressful to be in my situation.

Random shot out of frustration

Sometimes having a heck-care attitude is of the best. We boarded the train heading for Zwickau, and luckily there was an information center there. I asked for the train information I need, and to my horror, the train we should board was scheduled to leave in two minutes - with me at the entrance of the station (first floor), and my parents with the luggages at the second floor farout platform. DOUBLE SHIT. (Lol.) Yeah, I ran and ran... But I guess Germans were very understanding - "this girl is chasing the hell out for her train." Ahaha. Seconds after we were on board the train moved. o__O;; Is crazy.

17 Uhr and a transfer at Hof station. I was just glad that we were already in Bavaria. *phew* There we took our final train (yay no more transfers... =__=) to Regensburg and reached our destination at 20.37 Uhr. We were an hour behind schedule, but I don't care anymore. WE REACHED REGENSBURG, and that's enough reality for me to stomach.

So much for train travel. I guess everyone should have a bucketful of adventures to share right? This would be mine to tell. *dies*

Ahaha. Random shot again, but it took me a few seconds to figure this one out~~~

The window by my bed. I really love this room. Oh, it was around 8 or 9pm.
