Hagaren in German XD

Here's what written on one of the shitajaki:

Hmm... Spotted any errors, typo or grammatik? Please inform me, hehe. This is too much German for me to handle during a stuffy hot day.

Stoooooooopid sun. Can't wait for sunset :(

Mary's Competition

Played for Mary's competition in the early afternoon, und es macht viel Spaß!

It's a solo vocal competition (classical), so I get to listen to a few Italian and German songs before Mary's turn. No french though, lol. The second singer sang Schubert's Erlkönig. His voice was really good, the only thing lacking is the stage presence. I have a feeling that most of the singers were first-timers.

Except Mary of course.

Most of them sang okay (though some were fantastic!) but where are the captivating smiles? It's a competition, so... smile! Smile and win the heart of the judges! Dotz... I sounded so crappy. Anyway, as a German student, I have to say this again. For those who sang in German (except the guy who sang Erlkönig), I can't help but wince. Poo again. Sorry, sorry... But I need to let it all out. Even the Germans I attended the competition with were like "what the ___ are they singing?"

Speaking of them, I am there to accompany Mary, and Sharon (Mary's teacher) and Marion came with me to hear us. I wasn't too happy the instrument I was going to play turned out to be a keyboard with a malfunctioning stand, but I still managed in the end. My scores betrayed me at the last page and went drooping, but thank god I was calm and finished it okay. And Mary was great! I really like her big voice. And hence, my assignment is done. Yay!

There was a Food Fest going on too, so after the competition Marion and I went food-hunting XD Got a free taco (coz the stall was closing) - gosh it was really good since I hadn't had that for years! And if Marion, who's used to fine-dining, said that that was a "whoa" taco, I bet it must be really first-class! ^^

And then Sharon's husband gave us a lift back - and sooooooooooo much German spoken in the car. @_@ I do understand most of it, but it's just pretty... refreshing to hear German conversation going on for a long time (it's a 4-person dialogue!) in a car. I don't take praises seriously, cos I think they are just nice passing comments, but Sharon said something about my playing that set me grinning all the way back home. Ich hoffe , dass ich habe heute wirklich gut gespielt! *grins sweetly*

Ich bin totenmüde, weil ich zu viel arbeiten hatte...

I survived the week - well almost. Three more days to go, and I'm done with it.

Meanwhile...

Two weeks passed in the absence of Juuni Kokki, and I'm back on track. Yoko has become impressively matured. I adore her speech of authority - it is evidence that she has grown into a fine Empress. Of course, here we witness the scene of "radical" versus "conservative", Yoko's ideas versus Keiki's mindset. However, Yoko outshines her Kirin, which I am proud of!

There's a fitting word for Yoko's comeback - grandioso.

Mit gusto auch! Die neununddreißigsten Folge gefällt mir gut! Ich finde es, it did a great summary of Yoko's spiritual journey and growing wisdom throughout the whole course of Juuni Kokki.

Und jetzt ist 2 Uhr früh - ich bin sehr, sehr müde. Gute Nacht.

A Night Summary

Back from German class; in the end I decided to attend this evening's. Gawd, it was pretty boring... Saturday classes are more noisy (more participation) and exciting (since there are more students than the Thursday's)

I wanted to say this ever since last week, but either it slipped my mind when I was posting some entry, or that I simply didn't have time to post much (this week) and keep track of my nightly anime rauntings.

So, here goes:

Chrno Crusade rawks! It's already the seventh episode, and it's getting better and better! Tonight's episode marks the first appearance of Aion, and wow, he looks like the priest from Trinity Blood! White/silver hair bishounens = love, whahahhahahahaaa... And I didn't expect the storyline to get darker, since it's only the first ten episodes, but it did. So I'm happy with the turn of events - cos there's a strong forward momentum. Can't wait for tomorrow's!

Burst Angel - first episode. I regretted paying very little attention to it in the past, thinking that it might be some kind of hentai-ish series (the commerical help suggested that itself), but it seems promising instead. The opening was amazing; the animation jaw-dropping. And my weakest link: the male character looks a lot like Claus from Last Exile. Haha, why?

So, why? Just to highlight to you peeps who are clueless, Chrno Crusade + Trinity Blood + Burst Angel + Last Exile = all animated by GONZO. Oooo... I just love GONZO. They are really the best. Also, just for your information, Kiddy Grade is animated by them as well; which is the reason why some of the girls from Burst Angel looks like those from the latter. But despite the lookalikes, all the characters from all the GONZO animes have unique personalities! So it doesn't get boring.

A little timeline of GONZO's works [which I've seen]:
2005 - Trinity Blood
2004 - Burst Angel (what?! it was last year's work?!)
2003 - Chrno Crusade
2003 - Peacemaker
2003 - Last Exile
2002 - Kiddy Grade
2001 - Hellsing
2001 - Vandread: The Second Stage

Ok kids, remember: Don't stand on top of the highest building in town during a thunderstorm, unless you are an anime villain.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz as a Beez

Buzzzzzzzy, buzzzzzzzzzy... Gosh, I'm so uptight for the entire week! Firstly, I don't get enough free time for myself - and all for the sake of Muenchen. Sigh... Work, work, work! I don't have enough time to practice for my lessons. Arrrgh. This is not life at all.

Montag - 3 rehearsals
Dienstag - 1 exam + 1 lesson
Mittwoch - 1 exam + rehearsal
Donnerstag - 1 lesson + 1 possible lesson
Freitag - 1 rehearsal + 2 lessons
Samstag - 1 lesson + 1 competition
Sonntag - PLEASE KEEP IT FREE! I NEED THE BREAK!!!

%^&@#^$... Monday to Wednesday I'm out of the house straight after waking up, and will only be back home after 11 plus. Thursday I have the luxury of staying at home in the early afternoon - but that time is mostly meant for practising, since I'm screaming for time at the piano. Will reach home hopefully in the evening? I hope there's no last minute assignments. No wait, I might have to goe for German make-up lessons... Hmm... Should I? Or should I miss the last 45 minutes of the Saturday lesson? Arrgh, don't wanna think of it now. Next is Friday - up and out of the house again, then back home to teach till ten. And I've to rush my German homework again. Blutig... Saturday is the problem. Up early for German, but since the competition clashes with my lesson (it starts at 1) I might have to leave half way, perhaps at 12 plus? And then after the competition, which is hopefully the last temp-assignment of the month, I WANNA GOE SLACK!! GOE ANIME-INDULGING OR GOE RAID SOMEBODY'S HOME OR just continue to prepare for the coming National competition and the IFC concert. Blutig! Don't I get to slack off properly? How I wish Dezember will come soon enough.

And I hate Beethoven's Missa Solemnis. Really. The Gloria is a killer - I don't even have enough time to learn that number properly =____________________=

Ich ging so spät, aber...

I was late for work today.

How late? I'm supposed to reach the Russells' place 11.00 Uhr; I woke up at 10.55 Uhr. And what's the first thing I did after getting out of bed? I calmly stared at the clock. Obviously I missed both my alarm (two handphones, haha) earlier this morning.

The second thing I did? Calmly messaged Step Russell that I'll be HALF AN HOUR late, and if she still want me to goe to her place.

It took me five minutes before I left my place for the Russells'. I did not freak out in any kind of way. Brushed, washed and dressed up - all in five minutes.

Can't believe I can be so calm about things. Must be the weather. I'm too calm it bores.

Gallery wanderings

Loki looks promising! I'm browsing through someone's Matantei Loki Ragnarok (what a name to remember!) gallery. Cable played the anime once last year, but it didn't attract much of my attention then. Then I got word that my cousin was addicted to it at the start of this year, and I got vaguely accquainted with the storyline. Browsed through his manga collection any-old-now, but was just a little impressed by the drawing style then. And now that I'm seeing the scans from the the Loki artbooks, my jaw hit the ground. Very fascinating art the artist has there! The costume designs are whoa...! Going to ask around for the Loki anime once I'm not so busy, then planning to read the manga after that (cos I'm a slow manga reader, and a lazy one as well).

The true form of Loki is very, very intriguing.

Missa Solemnis Horror

Sigh...

I feel like I'm tainting my own name writing about this.
But Beethoven somehow deserved to be cursed and sweared at by the future generations of chorus members...

We got our score (Edition Peters, and some obvious printing errors on note values - unforgiveable!) of Beethoven's Missa Solemnis today. I looked through it during the warm-up session at 19.00 Uhr... Gosh, I thought, those high B-flats are gonna kill the whole group of sopranos.

It did.

Not only that. We sight-singed through the first two movements: Kyrie and Gloria. Kyrie was okay; as long as you keep count you're on the safe side. The killer is Gloria... o_O The basses were completely lost, the movement is totally long... And gosh... The demanding technical aspects of it! It strangled the entire chorus... Beethoven put fast running notes face-to-face with lengthy held notes. And what kind of lenghty notes? 9 bars of held As, and ties on B-flats that seem like forever. If the sopranos are not turning blue (or purple), our vocal cords would implode. Shane was laughing at us while at the piano. Arrrrghhh... Yeah, laughing at our plight... =_=

Of course we will soon embrace the idealogy behind Missa Solemnis, since this work will be at the back of our head come next April, but the rehearsing process will still be painful... And daunting... Did Beethoven even regret writing such stuff? His choral writing is impossible - and more impossible during his times. I myself have a crack theory about the reason for his cruelty: He must have had a bitter love affair with a soprano then, and hence sought to make all the sopranos of the future suffer! Muahahahahaaa!!

Okay, I'm lame. And Beethoven is cruel.

I wonder what's his voice range? *ponders, then kept nodding off*

Okay, time for bed!
*hangs throat and vocal cords aside*

Nyaaaaa~~~~~ =3

Met Judy, Artoo and SH in the early afternoon – all ready to pay the shop a visit. Alas, Volume 3 of Shinjo’s newest work is sold out already… So that gives me a reason not to spent a single cent! Anyway, I saw the 20th Century Boys manga for sale! Wow! Sooo happy that they are already translated, since that already mean that Monster is also translated, and one only need to dig deep to be able to find it. Found out that SH watches Monster too! That means the Mauer: Judy and Artoo steps to the manga side, while me and SH are going anime. Whahahahaa. And I became a wild cat – started to “nyaaaaa~~~” here and there, now and then… What’s wrong with me today? Really really caty today [huh?], but I guess I was having my bit of fun. They came to my place later, and Artoo “kidnapped” my Shinjo Mayu manga. XD XD XD. The girls were poking on my humble anime-cum-manga-stuff collection, hehe. Artoo finds it too neat… [er… okay…] But those are gems and deserves to be presented properly! XD Oh, and I let Judy hear the tougue twister from Inuyasha, plus Inuyasha’s variation on the word “baka”, and boy, was it crack! Judy seemed interested in Monster, so yay – I feel so accomplished right now. But seriously, Monster deserves more fans. It’s a masterpiece, only that it came way after the manga – which it probably the main cause of its plight. Glad that SH appreciates my FMA wallpaper *squeals*. Alas, it has this spelling error on it – bad case of the Engrish… Got news from SH that Monster 64 is out. I spazzed, then went to check it out after they left – ya, it’s out last night. And 65 is fresh for grab today! Whoa… They sure are fast! Grabbed both, and got both before I bounced off to bed. Glee!

For Johann...

I have come across Erlkönig by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe more than a thousand times. Yet when I went through it just now Johann (Liebert) just cross my mind. Really... Somehow I feel that this poem tells Johann's tale fantastically well - in another point of view. Enjoy:

Erlkönig

Wer reitet so spät durch Nacht und Wind?
Es ist der Vater mit seinem Kind;
Er hat den Knaben wohl in dem Arm,
Er fasst ihn sicher, er hält ihm warm.

'Mein Sohn, was birgst du so bang dein Gesicht?'
'Siehst, Vater, du den Erlkönig nicht?
Der Erlenkönig mit Kron und Schweif?'
'Mein Sohn, es ist ein Nebelstreif.'

'Du liebes Kind, komm, geh mit mir!
Gar schöne Spiele spiel ich mit dir;
Manch bunte Blumen sind an dem Strand,
Meine Mutter hat manch gülden Gewand.'

'Mein Vater, mein Vater, und hörest du nicht,
Was Erlenkönig mir leise verspricht?'
'Sei ruhig, bleibe ruhig, mein Kind;
In dürren Blättern säuselt der Wind.'

'Willst, feiner Knabe, du mit mir gehn?
Mein Töchter sollen dich warten schön;

'Ich liebe dich, mich reizt deine schöne Gestalt;

English translation:

The Erl-King

Who rides so late through the wind and the night? It is a father with his child; in his arms he clasps the boy, holds him safe, keeps him warm.

‘My son, why do you hide your face in fear?’ ‘O father, do you not see the Erl-King, the Erl-King with his crown and train?’ ‘My son, it is only a swirl of mist.’

‘Sweet child, come, come away with me! I will play fine games with you. There are many bright flowers by the shore, and my mother has golden robes.’

‘O father, father, do you not hear the Erl-King’s soft promises?’ ‘Be still, be still, my child! The wind is rustling the withered leaves.’

‘You beautiful boy, will you not come with me? My daughters would serve you well; they lead the nightly dance, and would rock you, and dance for you, and sing you to sleep.’

‘O father, father, do you not see the Erl-King’s daughters in that dark, dismal place?’ ‘My son, my son, I see them clearly; it is only the glimmer of old willow trees.’

‘I love you, and am stirred by your beauty; if you do not come willingly, I must use force.’ ‘O father, father, he is seizing me now! The Erl-King has wounded me!’

The father shudders, swiftly he rides, holding the moaning child in his arms. He reaches the court-yard in anguished haste, but in his arms the child is dead.

Guilty as I am...

This person obviously has lots of time! But since I had read it, might as well confess to the crimes...

Frightening... then Heart-warming

I'm referring to today's Monster...

And... Monster is crazy. Totally insane. I'm glad they attempted to dismiss the idea that Johann might have a sympathetic/good nature/side. Very glad. The doll at the basement gave me quite a fright! I screamed - after MN. Arrrrgh... Then with all those freaky photographs... Yes, there is a monster in the basement. And Dr. Gillen is right - Johann is able to smell out murderers. Omg... A very eerie person is he. o_O And to be able to read their minds and accurately predict their traumatised past. Gosh, how did he accomplish that?! And his handwriting is still so creepy. I can't believe he wrote the two messages repeatedly to the now-murdered old woman...

While I'm grossed out of this, Tenma is also at the risk of being caught by the police. Luckily Gillen finally had a heart to help him out and the last scene... Well, it made me giggle like a child again...

Tenma: "Gillen, I didn't look down on you that time."
Gillen: "Then why didn't you report me to the professor? You saw me cheating during the exam."
Tenma: "Well, because I was cheating at that time too."
Awww... That was just... so heart-warming... After all that scaring and tension throughout the episode, this was what we need - to reach the same conclusion everytime, that Tenma is a good-natured man.

*laughs* It is really impossible not to fall for Tenma.

Shinsengumi

I'm blind enough not to see that Peacemaker Kurogane overlaps with Rurouni Kenshin in some details. The most obvious would be the members of the Shinsengumi. I already have a hunch that they are real historical figures since I was into Rurouni Kenshin years ago, but just that I didn't bother to check the history of the Shinsengumi out.

The only difference between the two animes - Peacemaker went into depth the individual Shinsengumi members, while Kenshin just focuses on Saitou Hajime and poked (^^) into Okita Souji for quite a bit.

Similiar characters:

Saitou Hajime - in Kenshin he is ruthless! And very cool. But in Peacemaker Saitou is more of a side-dish character, and strangely enough, has self-claimed supernatural ability... Er... ^_^;;;

Okita Souji - not much info from Kenshin, but a total potential bishounen in Peacemaker. Who wouldn't love Peacemaker's Souji? XD However, I remembered that in Kenshin Souji became the leader (?) or perhaps some unit captain of the Shinsengumi but died young (coz of TB I think?). So sad.

Other characters mentioned only in Peacemaker:

Hijikata Toshizou
Nagakura Shinpachi
Harada Sanosuke
Yamanami Keisuke
Kondou Isami
Toudou Heisuke
Yamazaki Susumu (but in history he's not a spy like in the anime)
Serizawa Kamo (his name looks similar, but I'm not too sure if he's involved in Peacemaker)
Sakamoto Ryoma (not in the Shinsengumi, just listing it down coz I didn't expect him to be a real person)

Very, very resourceful site about the Shinsengumi in Japanese history. I went o_O. Am so enlightened.

[Edit: Okay, I really sat down and read through the site. Yamazaki Susumu did become a spy in the end. Oops, made a boo-boo.]

Party pooping

Monster this evening (episode 17) is a serious party pooper. I wanted to see Johann as the "monster" for a longer period of time, but they just blew it big time for me... =_=

It appeared that we are now told (by Anna, reconfirmed by Doctor Tenma) that Johann's problem is actually his split-personality. It may be shocking or disturbing for other viewers, but I was going "Oh, so that's it? Such behaviour explained merely and so simply by medical terms?" And because I'm into this part of Inuyasha where Suikotsu also happens to have double-personalities, it becomes pretty much deja vu for me...

I'm so saddened that it didn't turn up to be something unearthly or something more original... Unless that fact may be proved wrong, or developed into something more monstrous in future episodes.

Anyway, putting the party-pooper aside, Monster 63 is out! Squeals!

Disappointment... and a tiny bit of surprise

Current anime - Inuyasha Ep 116, Peacemaker Ep 16, Juuni Kokki Ep 34, Scrapped Princess Ep 15, Monster Ep 15
Current manga - Maison Ikkoku Vol 11, Bleach Vol 8, Inuyasha Vol 18

Current Gesaenge - Schubert's Heidenröslein
Current Vokalwerk - Debussy's Nocturnes
10 weeks + 4 days since Ed was confused by the number 12

Tonight's Monster, though brutal and shows more action, is too narrative and straightforward - too dull and not entertaining. The usual episodes offer suspense along with more clues about the "Monster" in Johann's mind, but I'm totally clueless today. Why are the Turks involved now? The plan to burn down the Turkish district might be an intended-cliffhanger, but it helps not with the flow of the storyline. Everything seems utterly distant today, no engagement of the audience. Tenma was brutally beaten up, andI was like going, er... okay... so you beat him up, but how's that gonna help you bring Johann closer to the audience? Beats me.

Watched at least eight episodes of Junni Kokki in one seating. Gawd, brain-freeze now. And very confusing, since the storyline is now bouncing to and fro the 12 Kingdoms. Twelve, mind you! @_@ But very commentable character development - especially regarding Yoko and Keiki. Suzu (is that her name in the Jap-dub?) and the Princess are total bitches. And both of them desires to meet Yoko - dotz... Keiki, bring your Empress and flee from them... Gosh, I love Keiki's change of expression in one of the episodes. But his heart still has a lot to learn.

Surprise! Yujia (now in Deutschland) is watching Inuyasha AUF DEUTSCH. =_= Okay, she wins. She totally wins... And found herself drooling over Sesshoumaru-sama! XD XD XD
Sesshoumaru-sama is Bishounen-love! Yay!

Screencaps from Monster

So, here we are: two screencaps to illustrate my point that Eva Heinemann is more than sick; she's totally out of her mind. The one at the left is even scarier when you view it on a larger screen. And the music that accompanies that scene is pricelessly disturbing as well. Anyway, Eva in that screencap is supposed to look distortingly angry after she found out her gardener had betrayed (kind of) her.

The next screencap is obviously the most disturbing scene in the whole episode - Eva burns her garden (together with her estate) just because she needs an output for her hatred towards her gardener. o_O

Someone wrote in her blog >>I always thought that she is scary but she really outdoes herself this time around. Her personality, mannerism, and behaviour are so horrific to the point that I wonder if there is someone like her in real life<<

I totally agree!

My, my... I might be a bit slow on this piece of news, but Prince of Tennis finally ended. I'm not a fan of Prince of Tennis (yet ^_^;;) but am already aware that it was a long-running anime. The last episode: 178. Wow, that's impressively long.

Watched Monster in the evening. No sign of Tenma, but OMG, Eva Heinemann (ist ihrer Nachname richtig? Ich entschuldige mir für den möglichen Rechtschreibfehler) scares the hell out of me. She IS a very agressive woman. And mad, and frightening... It might be impossible if there's really someone like her in real life, because she had just outdone herself today - I can't believe she just burnt down her estate (together with the garden) just because she hates her gardener. o_O

Still on Monster, that inspector/detective from the BKA has this uncanny feeling about him as well. Ever since he appeared in Episode 3 (I think) I've been very curious about him as a character. Yet, recent episodes doesn't provide me with any chance to evaluate the character of this strange man. I'll reserve my thoughts about him still later, when I've seen more episodes. Alas, the synopsis for the next episode doesn't seem to hint that he been making any future appearance, yet. But Anna Liebert (or Nina) is finally making hers after the (at least) five month gap - holding a gun. o_O. Things are going to get exciting!

I'll pass my judgement on Junni Kokki. Been frantically watching episodes because I'm running out of recording space. Finally moved on to the third chapter of the series, but no clues on what happened to Taiki!! Arrrghh... I have come to like that little boy so much! But Enki just narrated that the King of Tai and Taiki disappeared after a year of reigning. So sad, and suspenseful altogether. I wanna know what happened! And as much as I like Keiki, I think that he's too strict on Yoko! Sigh... That Kirin should relax a little, and show those expressions like he did to Taiki then. If he does so, I'm sure he'll recruit even more fangirls... XD

Don't forget... today

Heute... Vergiss du nicht!

Post-concert syndrome.

But all great things come to an end.

Elijah was really a great experience. To sing with the chorus is an honour. And to sing in this huge production brings even far greater honour. Give thanks, for this is a far greater sensation than performing Beethoven's Choral Fantasy and 'Choral' Symphony previously.

But all great things eventually come to an end - and life goes back to normal.

Which means I'm in deep shit. The week of intense rehearsals for Elijah really messed up my schedule. I didn't touch the piano for one whole week! And tomorrow there's the rehearsal with Mary and Step Russell, and I have not learnt up their pieces, oops. Oh dear.

Frau Lim called me this morning (when I had intended to sleep in! Arrrghhh...) to arrange for next week's lesson. Thy wish is my comment, my beloved Lehrerin - Schubert's Ganymed has to be well-learned before this coming Tuesday. Er... two-days notice?! The song is really quite long, and is not technically easy too... In addition research is required because I don't get the meaning behind the text. Some references about mankind trying to get intimate with nature or something? This is going to take quite some time. And deadline is Tuesday. Uh-oh.

The worst is left for the last. The piano pieces - have to re-learn Prokofiev and Liszt before Thursday... Plus the IFC... ^_^;;; I haven't been praticising their pieces for like, say, close to a month? And the Debussy's Nocturnes audition is around the corner. I gotta goe look for a recording of it to prepare for the audition. I'm clueless about it - except that I know there's lots of shiny high parts. Wee. Sounds like fun. Fun equals to burden.

Sigh... Why does life seem so busy when you had left yourself behind?

My brain craves for ice cream. Goe melt thy troubles in ice cream.
I have tubs of troubles, so I deserve tubs of ice cream!

Elijah - Night Two of Two

Finally it's all over.

During the warmup session at 18.00 Uhr, Herr Nelson and Herr Lim expressed their satisfaction with last night's performance. Herr Lim was also acting pretty weird today - he wasn't as strict as usual, and was cracking extremely lame jokes. Lol, I reckoned that the main reason for his abnormality this evening was due to his wife's return (from UK) last night. What a sweet couple. ^^

To sum up everything, I think that last night's performance was better - chorus' point of view. The entries of the parts tonight were... so much more untidy. But, what the heck. The second night was always meant to be enjoyed after all. So, maybe too much self-indulgence for us anyway. And I bet that everyone's already spent from last night's performance, me included. Many around me confessed that it was hard getting to sleep last night - we're all still re-living those vivid moments on stage - mentally of course. Physically we're all tossing on the bed, XD

However, the soloists were even more brilliant tonight! Frau Sarah Castle (the alto) and Herr Nathan Berg (Elijah) especially. More people got moved by their arias... I personally was very affected by Herr Nathan Berg's singing in Part Two... Oh. my. gosh. That really got my tears running - while I was still on stage, yes. His performance was just so... emotional. Indeed, someone who was ready to be sent to heaven - hence, the chorus did that (with the number Then did Elijah the prophet break forth). Oooh, I thought the chorus did great. I enjoyed that number tremendously, partially due to my successful hits at those lovely high passages. Wee.

Well, at the end of the performance most of the people at the stalls and Circle 1 gave us a standing ovation. I thank thee, audience. I got so emotional at that sight, and the applauses were just so roaring, that the finality of the Elijah performance got to me. So, this is it. There was once Herr Nelson just brought Herr Nathan alone onto the stage, and the applause was thunderous! And I guess Herr Nathan won most of our hearts during this week of rehearsals (plus the two nights of performances as well, duh) that we the ladies (seriously, altos + sopranos) went as far as to cheer loudly and went "woo"-ing while he embraced his moment of fame. Haha, I joined in the cheering as well. Apparantly our Elijah had got himself a little fanclub of squealing chorus ladies. Back at backstage, we were all working ourselves into a frenzy of "hey, there's Elijah!", "Quick, get his autograph!", "Quick, the cameras!". And hence our dear beloved Elijah was surrounded by his fangirls of all ages (and I being the youngest of all, haha - since I'm the youngest in the chorus, dotz...). At the end of it all, I got everyone's autograph on the programme booklet. Oooh, the booklet is sooooo pretty now! Shiny pretty booklet...

See how shiny is my little booklet:
Herr John Nelson (our conductor)
Herr Lim (our Chorus Master - gosh, it was so embarressing to ask him to sign... but it's all for the sake of pretty-ing the booklet >_<)
Herr Nathan Berg (Elijah!!!!!! XD)
Frau Abbie Furmansky (the soprano angel/the widow)
Frau Sarah Castle (the alto angel/the queen - gosh I love her voice!)
Herr Scott Wyatt (Obadiah - he's making me feel very shooort when I was standing right behind him =_=;;;)
Hence, tada! That's the whole lot! Pretty shiny autographs XD

I even cracked this joke during the squealing fangirls session at the backstage - get thee hence to Elijah, for he will soon to Heaven go! Whahahaaaa... I'm so evil! I got knocked off for that, lol. But since everyone's having the post-concert madness, anything comes and goes!

And for me, yep, I got a post-concert crush on Herr Nathan as well. XD XD XD

Woohoo!

Gosh... I never thought I'll be even more exhausted now than yesterday =_____=

Only three hours of sleep last night... So I'm all dead during today's German lesson. Annika (unsere Lehrerin) seemed all excited about Elijah though, schoen. Said her favourite number is For He shall give His angels (sang by the double quartet). Hee, my favourites? Well, I'm not quite sure any more, since I've been singing Elijah for like, this whole week? However I still like those Elijah's arias. Those are great stuff! I'll attempt to get Herr Nathan Berg's ("Elijah") autograph. Muahahaaa.

Well, I'm just here to complain about how tired and asleep now.
