Episode 11 of Monster (or did I lose count already?), and here Johann left another creepy message for Tenma. Whoa. Perfect German! That's what I primarily like about this show. I can indulge in the Japanese language while revising my German at the same time! XD XD XD
Mein lieber Dr. Tenma
Sehen Sie mich! Sehen Sie mich!
Das Monstrum in meinem Selbst ist so gross geworder!
It's proper German alright, and so Monster and Johann rule me. However, there is something about the way it was scribbled on the wall behind the painting that freaked me out. And how did Tenma knew that the message would be behind THAT painting? *brain scarred*

Proko sends me a recording of Kabalevsky's Sonate Nr. 3 later, and so I was listening my way through the 1st movt... Oh well, very cute, tralalalaaa~~~ Very Kabalevsky, so to speak ^^
I have yet to experience another shock. A few minutes after the start of the 2nd movt, I heard the unmistakened lurking of those notes A-B-C-A-D-B-C... I might have just gone mad again. It's the opening theme from Monster. And I thought enough brain-scarring had been done just now. The very motif that runs through the anime episodes, but with varied instrumentation every time. Because the 2nd movt of the Sonate was rather creepy as well, the psychological effects worked perfectly on me. Gosh, I'm so ruined by Monster. So very, very scarred (and scared).

Perhaps I should make a list of the German that appears in Monster for every episode. When I'm insane enough to do so, I'll post it here. Do look forward to it! (Or maybe it's better that you ignore my scarred soul for now. So go away, shoo...)
